Coffee [Dec. 10th, 2004|10:36 am]
[mood |awake]
[music |The sound of hard drives in an empty computer lab]

I have never been a coffee drinker. I remember in high spending hours in a coffee shop chatting and thinking "why do people like this stuff?" "It tastes sooo bad". Well, because of school full-time and work full-time I have been drinking my coffee. I usually head to Caribou for a medium cup of their light roasted. I will be wired for the rest of the day. Yesterday, I drank my cup in the library and I could not sit still. I had to roam around, look at books, or sit on the internet. I got out of class around 10 pm, and attempted to go to bed around 1:30am. However, did not get to bed until 4am! Oh...I had to wake up at 7. Thanks Coffee

REVIEW: Beach Boys...Rock? [Oct. 13th, 2004|12:10 pm]
For the past 40 years, the Beach Boys have become poster boys for California sun and fun. However, the Boys (like many other 60's bands) had their blurry, drug indulged, psychedelic period. Many have not heard it, and I feel sorry for you.

Wild Honey

Wild Honey is the Beach Boys answer to the late 60’s psychedelic sound. The Boys left their polished, wholesome sound at the beach and created a rough & tough album that is full of piano driven rock. Do not worry, Wilson kept those amazing harmonies that made the Beach Boys one of a kind. This album proved the Beach Boys can rock with the rest of them, and you did not have to be from Haight Ashbury to do so.

Key Tracks: “Aren’t You Glad”, “I was made to Love her”, “How She Boogalooed It”.
